Jarl Storm
An experimental Kubair Labs platform: an AI-native demo of investment accounting and operations. Records, reconciliation and reporting, built as an educational prototype on sample data.
Educational prototype. Uses synthetic sample data. Not financial advice and not a trading tool.
The platform
Jarl Storm is a working demonstration of how AI can support the quieter side of investment operations: keeping accurate records, reconciling them and reporting on them clearly.
It is built by Kubair Labs, the experimental arm of Kubair Technologies, to explore and explain these ideas. Everything inside it runs on synthetic sample data.
Holdings, cash movements and valuations kept in one structured ledger.
AI-assisted matching of records against sample statements, with exceptions flagged for a person to review.
Clear summaries and a full audit trail generated from the same records.
Plain-English explanations of each step, so the process is easy to follow.
The name
Jarl is Old Norse for a chieftain or earl: the person trusted to keep order across a territory. The English word earl is a close relative, from Old English eorl.
A storm is what large volumes of financial records can feel like. The platform’s purpose is to bring calm order to them, which is the job a jarl was expected to do.
The Norse identity comes from our Norse Studies division, which explores the Old Norse language, runes and the Viking Age.
Principles
Built to demonstrate and explain, not for live use.
01No real client, account or personal data is used.
02AI suggests matches; a person reviews every exception.
03Every figure can be traced back to its source record.
